McNellie's Group Set to Launch New Upscale Dining Experience on Jenks' Main Street

Jenks' historic Main Street is buzzing with anticipation as the renowned McNellie's Group prepares to open its latest culinary venture, City Hall Steak & Cocktail. This new establishment marks the group's first foray into Jenks and promises to be a significant addition to the area's dining scene, aiming to contribute to the ongoing revitalization of the downtown district.

A Blend of Modern Elegance and Historic Charm

City Hall Steak & Cocktail will be housed in the 123 Main Street building, a significant redevelopment project in downtown Jenks. The interior design is envisioned as a sophisticated fusion of modern aesthetics and vintage accents, thoughtfully curated to honor the building's unique history. The atmosphere is being crafted to cater to a variety of occasions, from intimate dinners and special celebrations to business meetings and casual gatherings with friends. A private dining room, capable of accommodating 12 to 14 guests, will also be available.

Culinary Excellence by a James Beard Nominee

Spearheading the culinary direction is McNellie's Group Executive Chef Ben Alexander, a recent nominee for a prestigious James Beard Award. Chef Alexander is developing a menu that will showcase a refined selection of steaks, chops, fresh fish, and pasta dishes. His vision for City Hall Steak & Cocktail is to create a versatile dining destination where patrons can find satisfying options for multiple visits per week. The menu will feature classic steakhouse favorites alongside signature salads, sandwiches, and a gourmet burger, ensuring broad appeal.

Catalyzing Downtown Revitalization

The opening of City Hall Steak & Cocktail is seen as a pivotal moment for Jenks' Main Street. Elliot Nelson, CEO and Founder of the McNellie's Group, expressed excitement about the opportunity to develop a location in the heart of Main Street, believing it will play a key role in the area's revitalization. This sentiment is echoed by Josh McFarland of CJC Architects, Inc., who stated that the development is the catalyst the downtown area needs, noting that Main Street is long overdue for such a project. The initiative aligns with "The Ten District," a citizen-led effort to rebrand Jenks' historic Main Street, aiming to attract new businesses and foster economic growth.
