2024.09.19 Jenks Planning Commission Meeting 6PM

The Jenks Planning Commission had a meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 19th, at 6 PM. However, due to an unexpected lack of attendance, the commission couldn't proceed with their agenda. The meeting has been officially rescheduled to a new date and time, ensuring that important planning updates and business can still be addressed.

What Happened on September 19th?

On Thursday, September 19th, the Jenks Planning Commission was set to hold its regular meeting at 6:00 PM. A roll call was conducted, but it quickly became clear that there weren't enough members present to form a quorum. This means that the commission didn't have the minimum number of members required to legally conduct any official business or make decisions.

Because of this, the meeting had to be called off. It's a pretty common procedure when not enough people show up.

When and Where to Catch Up

Good news for anyone who was planning to attend or was interested in the topics: the meeting has been rescheduled. The Jenks Planning Commission will now reconvene on Monday, September 23rd, at 6:00 PM.

The location for the rescheduled meeting will be the same: the Council Chambers at 21 North Elm Street. This new date and time will allow the commission to address all the planning updates and other business that was originally on the agenda for the 19th. If you had something you wanted to bring up or just wanted to stay informed, mark your calendar for the new date.
