Downtown Jenks is experiencing a significant revitalization with the opening and expansion of several new businesses, signaling a vibrant future for the historic Main Street. This surge in commercial activity includes new dining options, a women's fashion boutique, and a brewery expansion, all contributing to the "Ten District's" rebranding efforts.
A Culinary Renaissance on Main Street
The McNellie's Group, a well-known name in the Tulsa restaurant scene, has opened its first Jenks establishment, "City Hall Steak & Cocktail." Located at 123 Main Street, this new venture is part of a larger 30,000-square-foot mixed-use redevelopment project, the largest in downtown Jenks' history. The restaurant, helmed by Executive Chef Ben Alexander, will offer a menu featuring steaks, chops, fish, and pasta, aiming to be a versatile dining destination for various occasions. The development is seen as a catalyst for the area's revitalization.
Eerie Abbey Ales Expands Its Reach
Eerie Abbey Ales has also expanded its presence, taking over the former Cape Brewery location at 736 W. Main St. in Jenks. While their downtown Tulsa location will remain the primary brewing facility, the Jenks spot is designed as a social hub with pool tables, a board game area, and an outdoor food truck site. The new location will feature 16 beers on tap and will also be a venue for watching sports, with plans to show football, basketball, and baseball games.
Cedar and Lily Brings Chic Fashion to Jenks
Adding to the growing retail landscape, Cedar and Lily Clothier has opened its doors on Main Street. This women's fashion boutique, located in the "Ten District" at 121 E Main St. Suite 105, offers a curated selection of over 50 clothing lines from both domestic and international designers. Owner Christy Lindsay aims to provide approachable, upscale fashion and create a welcoming space for women of all ages and body types. The boutique also plans to support local nonprofits by dedicating a portion of its quarterly sales to charitable organizations.
